Nebraska Boat Bill of Sale

When there has been a sale and purchase transaction involving a water vessel, a Nebraska boat bill of sale is drawn. This form usually contains essential information about the water vessel and the parties involved in the transaction, and this information is necessary for registration. The parties involved in this transaction are also required to imprint their signature on the document to make it valid.

Boat/Vessel Registration

In the state of Nebraska, any person who purchases an automatically driven water vessel (vessels with mechanical propellers) is required to register it. For every vessel, registrations last up to three(3) years and lapse on the last day of December in the third year. When this happens, it is to be renewed via the DMV online website or by physically visiting an office of the local county’s treasurer in Nebraska.
