Minnesota Boat Bill of Sale
When a vessel is registered, its registration lasts for up to three (3) years. When this registration lapses, it is renewed physically at the DVS Office or online through the DNR (Department of Natural Resources) online platform.
To register for the first time, you are to physically submit your applications and other required documents at any DVS Office location. The form will include vital information about the boat like: how long the boat is, its manufacturer, the material used in creating its frame, its make, the year it was made, etc.
An application for the registration and titling of the water vessel;
Proof of purchase ( which is a Bill of Sale in this case);
Document showing transfer of ownership;
Payment of registration costs.
