Alaska Boat Bill of Sale
Within fifteen days of acquiring new ownership, any boat must be registered with Alaska authorities. The registration is valid for three years and expires at the end of the month in which it was first registered. Renewals must be done physically at all times.
Assuming a boat owner's registration is lost, s/he can receive a fresh version (if no changes have been made) by visiting this website.
A boat can be registered at any DMV office in the area.
The following forms must be completed and returned:
Affidavit of Ownership(Form 848);
Bill of Sale Document;
Boat Application (Form B1);
Registration Charges.
