A car that will be documented and be in Arizona must be registered within fifteen days after acquisition. Depending on the vehicle, registration might be for either a year or two years.
To register your vehicle, you must go to your local Arizona Motor Vehicle Division office.
Papers Needed
Title and Registration Request (Form 96-0236);
Sold Notice (Form 46-8502) – All must be concluded and sent to the state within ten days of the transaction.
Evidence of vehicle indemnity that satisfies Arizona's coverage demands, which are as follows:
$15,000 belonging destruction liability;
$25,000 physical wound liability for a person; $50,000 bodily injury liability for two or more people.
A bill of sale document
If you live or want to live in Phoenix or Tucson, you must have an emissions test done at any of Arizona's Emissions Testing Centers.
Identification papers;
A vehicle power of attorney must be signed if an agent will be representing the car owner; and Documentation charges.
